Processing purposes

How we use data

We process data only for service operation, security, and compliance responsibilities.

  • Provide account access, authentication, and session integrity.
  • Support protocol-related UX such as indexing, status display, and notifications.
  • Detect abuse, maintain security controls, and respond to incidents.
  • Process support requests and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
Data sharing

When data may be disclosed

Sharing is limited to operational processors and legal obligations.

  • We may share limited data with processors that provide hosting, telemetry, support-delivery, and operational tooling.
  • We may disclose data when required by law, legal process, or regulatory obligation.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not share seed phrases or private keys because we do not collect them.
Data retention

How long data is kept

Retention follows operational need, legal duties, and security requirements.

  • Account and support records are retained only as long as needed for service operation, legal compliance, and security.
  • Operational logs are retained for reliability, abuse prevention, and incident investigation windows.
  • On-chain records are permanent under blockchain finality and outside DeTrustPay deletion control.
User rights and controls

Managing your data

Eligible rights apply to off-chain account data, not immutable blockchain records.

  • Request access, correction, or deletion of eligible off-chain account data.
  • Unlink wallets and close account-level app features where supported.
  • Clear browser storage to remove local preferences and session artifacts.
  • Use support contact channels for privacy requests and identity verification.
Local storage and cookies

Browser-level data

Some app behavior depends on local browser storage and session management.

  • The app may store preferences and session artifacts in browser storage.
  • This helps speed up secure sign-in and preserve user experience settings.
  • You may clear local storage at any time from your browser controls.
  • Cookie behavior and controls are described in the cookie policy.
Security and incidents

How we protect off-chain data

Security controls are applied to minimize risk and support incident response.

  • We apply data minimization and access controls for off-chain service data.
  • Sensitive transport uses encrypted channels.
  • Security monitoring and abuse detection are active across service components.
  • If an incident materially affects user data, disclosure is handled per legal requirements.
